CARD: FOCUS

Sometimes it seems that our thoughts choose us, but this is never the case. We always choose our thoughts-every moment. Our thoughts always have an effect, and there are no neutral thoughts. One-half second before you hold a thought, you decide to hold it. So, with practice, you learn to monitor and alter your thoughts. This is the equivalent of putting your hands on the steering wheel of life.

You may believe that your concentration abilities are impaired, yet the fallible mind of God is within your own mind. You can experience remarkable feats of concentration by affirming:

CARD MEANING: YOU ARE NOW MOVING INTO A TIME OF GREATER INNER PEACE & TRANQUILITY

Peace of mind means feeling secure, and knowing that you're always provided for. Even if your logical mind cannot fathom how a challenge could be resolved, peace of mind means that you trust that God will create a miraculous solution. This sort of faith is always warranted because faith is a key component in experiencing such miracles.

By drawing this card, the angels reassure you that peace of mind is within you. You can feel serene, even in the midst of great turmoil. It's a mistake to think that you have to wait until your life is problem free before you can be happy and peaceful. The opposite is actually true. First you work toward serenity, and then your life challenges lessen and disappear. Serenity is your natural state of mind, and the angels are now working with you to actualize this.

What a lovely card for today! Yesterday I went to a town by the Ocean and strolled the streets for a craft fair, today I am going to work in my garden and get some plants in. To me there is no better place to find serenity that in nature.....go out and get some fresh air and sunshine today it will bring much peace to your soul.

The angels know that you're busy, with many Earthly demands on your time. They want to help you with your responsibilities through the process of balance. Whenever our schedules become disproportionate, our energy drops. Lowered energy creates the illusion that there isn't enough time in the day, a  vicious cycle of time limitation ensues.

Your angels ask you to add regular doses of meditation, exercise, and play to your days. They know that balancing your life between work, play, spirituality, exercise, and relationships helps you grow and feel joy. If you feel overwhelmed by your responsibilities, don't hesitate to ask God and your angels to life your burden.

Yesterday I had a big blow out with my younger son, he had been drinking and sneaking more that is allowed in this house and it was so upsetting because he has not done that is so long. But he started hanging out with someone who has problems and its bringing him down. But it did open my eyes up to see that he needs some therapy and I need to go with him. We still have some residual pain from when he was a child and I was married to an abusive alcoholic. It was an upsetting evening but in the long run I know this type of thing has to happen to shake things up and initiate growth, for confirmation not only did I pull this card today for us but this was in my mailbox:

Everything -- absolutely everything -- that happens in our lives has a spiritual cause. Mental, emotional and physical events are only effects.
When we are struggling with any challenge, whether it be ill health, a lack of money, a lost job, relationships, an accident, whatever -- we need to look for the spiritual learning. We can ask ourselves, "What quality does my soul want me to live more fully?"
